Elbo Room is currently popular in Bombay because it’s new and in Bandra. It stays open until 1:30 am, half an hour longer than other bars in the area.

A large part of the fun of Elbo Room was being there at closing when we had a driver waiting for us outside. A tiny guy who works at the bar runs around shoving plastic cups at the patrons and asking them to leave. This makes some of the local Indian women nervous, however. So you get women yelling at the guy with the cups to get away from them at the top of their lungs while gulping down their mixed drinks.
