2022.05.09 Journal

8:21am – I’ve meditated for 30 min, done some work emails, had a quick work call. An intense period of work is complete and now I can establish new norms, habits, and routines. Doing so requires being intentional around what I will cut out. The main things I feel like cutting out for the next few months are staying up late and reading news articles as my default “I’m bored or have a few minutes to kill” activities. The main things I’d like to add are reading, going on walks with an audio book on, and meditation.

Starting with today, I’ve already meditated. Next things I could do include working out, drinking coffee, taking a cold shower, listening to an audiobook, working from outside the house, making tomorrow’s list. Intentionally keeping today casual and not going into bulleted to-do list format.
